Diane McGeehan is a higher education professional with over 20 years of experience specializing in online course design, faculty development, and instructional strategy. She combines deep knowledge of academic standards with practical expertise in creating engaging, student-centered online learning experiences.
Throughout her career, Diane has worked closely with professors and academic teams to design courses that meet institutional goals while enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. She helps faculty navigate the challenges of online instruction, from crafting clear learning objectives and meaningful assessments to integrating technology effectively.
Her approach is collaborative and tailored. Diane listens to educators’ needs, identifies strengths and growth areas, and provides practical guidance that builds confidence and supports sustainable teaching practices. Diane Mcgeehan brings over thirty years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, along with leadership roles as acting and associate campus dean. She has also worked in public and private schools and business education with Nobel Learning, Inc.
Her most notable recognition is the Strayer University Faculty Leadership Award (2019), honoring her consistent leadership in advancing Strayer University’s academic mission. Other honors include:
